Before, he was Brand Manager for Wii and Wii U at Nintendo of Europe for 8 years, after having worked with the publishing houses Carlsen, Dino-Verlag (Panini) as well as Tokyopop for a comparably long time, brand managing IPs like Star Wars, Superman, Batman, Simpsons, Naruto, One Piece, and Yu-gi-oh. Michael Schweitzer joins Gameforge as Senior Brand Manager and will henceforth help shape the brand strategy of the company. Bauchinger has been successful in the industry for 8 years as Lead Programmer, Technical Producer and Head of Online Technology and was jointly responsible at Sproing for games like Sigils, Silent Hunter Online and Skyrama. As Studio Director, he will here be responsible for the expansion and direction of the joint internal development teams, which have among others created the mobile Football Manager Matchday released across Europe this summer. Matthias Bauchinger relocates from Austrian delevoper and longtime Gameforge partner Sproing Interactive Media to the Free-to-Play provider based in Karlsruhe. Prior to his transfer Duthie was Lead Designer and Online Producer at Rockstar North for titles like Grand Theft Auto, which he helped shaped for more than 14 years. Karlsruhe, 28th of July 2015 – Gameforge creates Studio Karlsruhe, fills the position of Studio Director with Matthias Bauchinger and with Andy Duthie and Michael Schweitzer acquires two more industry veterans, strengthening their international Producing and Brand Management.Īndy Duthie takes on a vital role in the successful cooperation with external developers and the publishing of their titles at Gameforge as an additional Senior Producer.
